Stradivarius Palatino model violin / available
Inspired by Antonio Stradivarius's celebrated Palatino or Spanish violins, this luthier-made violin, crafted in 2025, is a work of art that combines acoustic precision with ornamental beauty. Entirely handmade, it faithfully reproduces the most distinctive features of the original model: the double purfling with pearl inlays, and the delicate hand-carved designs on the ribs and scroll, reminiscent of antique floral embroidery. Its aged varnish, applied with finesse and taste, lends the instrument a timeless elegance and a truly classic appearance.
Its slightly smaller size makes it especially comfortable and agile, with an immediate and pleasant response that facilitates articulation and expressiveness even in fast passages. The back, made from a single piece of maple, reinforces tonal stability and promotes homogeneous resonance throughout the entire register.
This violin can be strung according to the player's preference: with Larsen Tzigane strings, to enhance its warm, lyrical, and velvety character, or with Larsen Virtuoso strings, to balance its warmth with a brighter and more defined projection. Recently serviced by a luthier, it features a perfect setup that optimizes its comfort, balance, and sound capabilities.
The result is an instrument of great aesthetic and musical beauty, capable of combining the decorative tradition of the 17th century with the modern sensibility of today's performer: a violin that not only sounds, but also moves with its presence and its masterfully recreated history.
